The National Instruments PCI-6225 is a low-cost multifunction M Series data acquisition (DAQ) board optimized for cost-sensitive applications. The board offers 80 analog inputs, two analog outputs,
24 digital I/O lines, and two counter/timers. The NI PCI-6225 is ideal
for applications including data logging, control, and sensor and high-voltage measurements when used in conjunction with NI signal conditioning.

Low-cost M Series devices incorporate advanced features such as the NI-STC 2 system controller, NI-PGIA 2 programmable amplifier, and NI-MCal calibration technology to increase performance and accuracy. Also
consider the high-speed M Series devices for 5X faster sampling rates or
the high-accuracy M Series devices for 4X resolution and superior
measurement accuracy.
Cables and Accessories
The PCI-6225 requires two cables and accessories to use all I/O. For optimal performance,
NI recommends using the SHC68-68-EPM extended performance, shielded cable for connector 0 and the SHC68-68 basic, shielded cable for connector 1. For ease-of-use and convenience, the PCI-6225 will ship with cable identification labels

Calibration and Warranty Services
All M Series devices have a 3-year manufacturing warranty. Additional warranty and calibration services may
be purchased at the same time as purchasing the device. Choose from extended
warranty, lifetime warranty, or lifetime warranty with one basic calibration service.

Driver Software
M Series devices work with multiple OSs, with three driver software options
including NI-DAQmx, NI-DAQmx Base, and the Measurement Hardware DDK. To learn more about driver
software or to download a driver, click on the “Download NI drivers” link below.
M Series devices are not compatible with the Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) driver.
Application Development Environments
M Series devices are compatible with the following versions (or later) of NI
application software LabVIEW 7.x, LabWindows/CVI 7.x, or Measurement Studio
7.x;SignalExpress 1.x; VI Logger 2.0; or LabVIEW with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module 7.1. M Series devices are also compatible with Visual Studio .NET,
Visual Basic 6, and C/C++/C#. For additional information on supported application
